The Soundcraft GB4-32 is a durable 32-channel live mixing console for travelling or installation. The GB4 outperforms its low price thanks to Soundcraft’s high-end features and versatility. The GB4’s mono channels include Soundcraft’s GB30 microphone preamps and 4-band equalizers. Graham Blyth, Soundcraft’s co-founder, introduced these preamps during Soundcraft’s 30th anniversary, and they’ve impressed sound professionals ever since.
The Soundcraft GB4 32-channel analog mixer has eight extra mono input channels than the 16 and 24-channel variants, giving it greater versatility for bigger live sound or recording applications. The GB4 32 has high-quality microphone preamps, 4-band EQ, and routing and mixing options like the others. It has two stereo input channels, a built-in talkback mic, a 9-band graphic EQ on the main mix output, and many effects.
For live sound, the mixer has phantom power for condenser mics, a switchable high-pass filter on each channel, and a compressor on the main mix output. Six aux sends, subgroup outputs, and a main mix output give the GB4 32 more signal monitoring and routing options.
